第二章：期待/期望

灵感来自于哪里？我也不太记得了。可能是故意把它给忘了，或则是把它隐藏在某处的角落。

爱情隐藏着对彼此的期待。每个人都期待爱情，期待一份真挚而又浪漫的爱！

当两个人在一起时，期待转变成期望了。双方相处时往往希望对方能达到他心中所设定的要求。例如，。。。

Eating for a better mood is REALLLY important.

The following are my Top Five Happy Foods - bon appetit!

1. Homecook food
2. Bubbletea (Honey Milktea)
3. Ice Cream
4. Popcorn
5. Chocolates

Have got quite a few recipes in mind which i want to try out. For instance:
- chicken stuffed with salted egg (something which my mum saw on tv)
- salad rolls (basically taking thin slices of carrot and cucumber and wrap it with veg)
- bread pudding (desserts are still my fav)

...the list just keeps going on....

Just typing this makes me happy...



2010 年的第一篇

想了很久还是没想到该写些什么才好。。。

自从大学毕业后，好像好久一段时间没上部落格写篇章了。
可能是随着成长的关系吧！
当我在阅读过去所写的篇章时，我都忍不住笑出泪来。
心想，当时我怎么那么多牢骚可发。


当我在打这张篇章时，心正在想什么我也猜不透。
感觉好像越来越不了解我自己。



大家，好久不见。有好一段日子没更新部落各了。我近期在忙于工作所以很少上线来写日记。


不知大家都过得怎么样？要保持联络喔！最近天气非常炎热，希望家人和朋友都多喝水，好好照顾自己。


今天好像是至放暑假以来我第一次坐在电脑前思考着这陆陆续续走来的日子。电视频繁地播出四川和缅甸的天灾报道令我非常感伤。 在那一眼瞬间全部的东西都被划成乌有。很庆幸自己住在新加坡，即安全又舒服的国家。所以在这时刻，我们是因该伸出援手为这些灾民尽一分力。希望他们能早日恢复日常的生活。



感触良多的事就写到这里，还是提些别的吧。



我在接下来的3个多月的暑假将会在会计师行做审计的工作。因为好奇所以选了这份工作。至今已近上了两个星期的工了，觉得还好。也因为着还是学生所以工作范围大大的减少。这个星期被安排到了间可再造能源公司，还蛮靠近本公司的。合作的伙伴也都很健谈所以相处地很愉快。我渐渐地发现我是那种一拍即合的人。随便和我哈拉几句，只要我能接的上，一律都没问题。来临的星期被换组了，有点期待会遇到什么样的伙伴。对于本公司我目前还蛮满意。为一能挑的缺点应该是它那“买力工作”的精神吧！真的觉得有点恐怖。



除了工作，剩余的时间便是和家人聚一聚或是在网上视频观看节目。常和刚认识的朋友提到我很不爱出门，他们的第一反应都一致-吓到。我好懒喔！！哈哈。

今天就写到这儿。

it has been quite some time since i last updated....
with project deadlines & exams round the corner, there's barely even time to rest, needless to say blog...

as i take sometime off my busy schedule, sitting in my room typing this entry, tonnes of things are running through the back of my mind - 2 presentations this wk, a minor quiz, report deadlines....arghz...the only time i manage to let my brain rest is probably napping on the bus..

shall set myself back on track and get everything over and done with..

recently, meow has become my motivator, kind of like reminding me not to have negative thoughts...nice of meow to cheer me up when i'm stress...


for having made u read thus far, i shall sum up the happenings over the "untold" period..so here goes:
- settled my internship for this summer
- met up with pan pan colleagues for dim sum
- my IBM laptop crashed
- got a new laptop
- EF presentation went smoothly
- my IBM laptop has been revived
.................
..........
....
..
.
.
the list goes on....shall not elaborate & take this time off to rest...
it's gonna be a long long night again

Just got home from Orchard after having dinner with the JC gang. Always get this nostalgic feeling after gathering - I MISS THOSE DAYS!!! Life is so stress now. Been ages since i laugh so much..

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe @ cineleisure

My 2nd visit to this cafe, wouldn't say that my first impression of the place has changed much. Comparing it to the other HK cafes in Singapore that i've been to so far, i would say that there're still plently room for improvements for this cafe.

The Food

It can be easily noticed that there're only selected dishes that are popular among customers. For instance, the cheese baked rice and the newly introduced chicken curry. I've tried both dishes, they're indeed good. So would definately recommend you these two dishes if you're planning to dine there.

Since it's my 2nd visit there, i decided to try a new dish. So i selected the black pepper chicken with rice & egg. It's a relatively simple dish so i don't see why i have to pay $8.50 for it. However, a good point that i want to bring up is that they're generous with their serving. The serving of the chicken was rather reasonable and combined with the black pepper sauce, the dish was not bad at all.

I'm disappointed with the mee sua though. The mee sua didn't look like mee sua at all, it looked more like the you mian from the Ban Mian stall.

The Service

I was initially pretty satisfied with thier services - the way the waiter attended to us during the taking of orders and the rate at which they serve our food. But the following changed my perception completely: (i) waiters/waiteresses kept coming to check whether they had served all the dishes in which we had ordered and (ii) waiters/waitresses clearing away the dishes immediately after a person has finish eating. It kind of signalled to me that they're chasing us out once we finish eating and paying up. It is just my own perception, so don't take it at face value.

All in all, would say that it's just an ordinary cafe.

在某一集的康熙来了，听见了一段话，让我影响深刻。
当时的话题围绕着爱情，而来宾都各自诉说了他的一段感情故事。
详细内容也不太记得了。只记得主词人大概说了以下的内容：

“那女生可能是因为习惯没有你的日子，发现到没有你她也能一样过的快乐，才和你分手的”

我好像也属于这一种女生吧。你一旦忽略了我，我便会在孤独中寻找自己的出路。渐渐地，我会发现没有你的日子，我还是能好好地一个人过。


对于亲情，不能缺乏。
对于友情，非常珍惜。
对于爱情，不再渴望。

此时此刻，我过的很满足。



Finally met up with fengkai and adrina today. We've been like postponing our meet-ups several times due to our different schedules. The last time we met was last year, sometime near adrina's birthday, whereby we had dinner at Manhatten Fish Market.

Thanks guys for being such great lunch companion despite the fact that i'm always stoning and at a different frequency. haahaaa...the incident whereby i mistook what adrina meant was hilarious: adrina was saying 评分[ping fen], meaning to rate the individual dishes and i mistook what she say as 平分[ping fen], which meant sharing the dishes equally. -_______-"

I shall go catch up on my sleep before i start stoning again in front of the computer...
